FAQ - Lipomelt

"The LipoMelt technology holds the potential to revolutionize the aesthetic market for inch loss and body contouring, offering clients a fantastic new non-invasive alternative to Lipo suction and help them meet their goals."
-Dr. Lionel Bisoon

How quickly will I see results?

Most patients notice results after the first or second treatment; however, a standard treatment protocol consists of two-three, 15 to 20 minute treatment sessions a week for 2 to 6 weeks depending on the size of the area's being treated and weight loss goals. Maintenance treatments can be performed at less frequent intervals once desired results are achieved.

What happens during a treatment session?

You will relax in a comfortable position while a trained technician secures multi-Super luminous treatment pads to the targeted areas of concern

Is there discomfort associated with the treatments?

LipoMelt treatments are completely non-invasive. Patients resume their normal activities immediately after the session with no residual bruising, swelling and there is no down-time. For optimal results it is recommended following up the LipoMelt sessions with EMS (Electro Muscle Stimulation) training.

Is LipoMelt safe?

Yes. LipoMelts, Super luminous Led light technology has been studied by Nasa and used for over 30 years for many biomedical purposes including wound healing, pain relief and inflammation.

Who is the ideal candidate for LipoMelt treatments?

There is no "ideal" candidate for LipoMelt treatments. Studies have demonstrated efficiency for many different body and skin types. We recommended each client be evaluated based on body type and lifestyle so that reasonable expectations may be set for LipoMelt results.

Most of the above studies use laser therapy at the same wave length of 635nm. But due to the advancement of L E D micro chip technology most systems have switched to L E D technology. With the cost saving of L E D microchips verses laser diodes you now have more L E D microchips per paddle or pads that allows for greater coverage and output of power, giving better results and safer treatments than lasers. Today’s devices such as the LipoMelt have 10 times the power of older laser systems that were on the market 5 to 10 years ago.
